Whether you are a student getting ready to move out of your property for the summer, or moving out of Bath with your family, be sure to plan ahead, recycle all that you can, and donate what you don’t want!

Check out our handy checklist for moving out.

Be sure of your waste and recycling collection days so you don’t miss out. You can find your collection day on the Council’s website Collection Day Finder.

Why not donate your unwanted goods to charity? Each year, the SCP teams up with the British Heart Foundation for their Pack for Good campaign and encourages students to donate their unwanted clothes to various donation points across the city. To find out where the donation points are located and what you can donate, please use our SCP Donation Map.

If you are a University of Bath student, don’t forget to check out the Leave No Trace campaign and find more information on donating your unwanted items to charity when you move out of University.

If you are a student resident and believe that you have been unfairly charged any costs after moving out of your property, you can contact the Advice & Representation Centre at the University of Bath Students’ Union or Student Housing Services at Bath Spa University for advice.

If you are moving out of university accommodation, be sure to know the proper procedures for both University of Bath Accommodation and Bath Spa University Accommodation.
